The reason why on the balcony of the 4th floor of an ordinary residential building were «Zhiguli»

In the Digomi area of Tbilisi which is one of the residential areas built up with Khrushchev-era apartment buildings, there was a very intriguing attraction for a relatively long time – blue Zhiguli cars standing on the balcony.

Believe it or not, there is a touching story associated with this car the owner of which is Rezo Enukidze. He made his cherished dream come true in 1991 becoming the owner of a new VAZ-2106 in heavenly color.

Yet, on the very first night, unknown people removed the mirrors and wheels. The owner grew angry and called a crane and parked his brand new car on his own balcony, however unbelievable it may seem.

But, unfortunately, better times did not come for Rezo in earthly life. He passed away without making his first trip in his Zhiguli. He probably had no money to hire a crane and buy new tires.

The Zhiguli was filmed from the balcony in 2018. The video was watched by millions of viewers, many remembered the history of the car, and some learned about it for the first time.
