In a surprising turn of events, tech billionaire Elon Musk has set his sights on the beer industry, demanding the immediate firing of Anheuser Busch’s CEO for what he calls the “Bud Light Fiasco.”
According to Musk, the recent Bud Light ad campaign featuring the tagline “The Perfect Beer for Removing ‘No’ From Your Vocabulary for the Night” was not only offensive but also showed a lack of responsibility on the part of the company.
“This is a serious issue,” Musk declared in a tweetstorm that lasted for hours.
Promoting a culture of consent is something we should all be striving for, not making light of. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and the CEO of Anheuser Busch should be held accountable.”
Musk, known for his outspoken views and penchant for taking on big industry players, has already begun rallying his followers to boycott all Anheuser Busch products until the CEO is removed from his position.
